Back to Books!! It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover

Wow!! I haven't made a review in forever because life has been pretty busy! I have finally made some time to get away from my chemistry homework, and start reading again😉! Over the summer, I jumped on the "Book Tok" Colleen Hoover bandwagon, and I fell in love with the book It Ends With Us. When I heard a sequel was going to come out, I made sure to preorder it so I could read it as soon as possible!

It Starts With Us, is a beautifully written sequel following It Ends With Us. The book focuses on Lily's new life with a newborn baby, Emerson, a divorcee, and trying to find comfort and love again. Lily still faces mental battles with Ryle, her ex-husband, but tries to replace her hurt with love from her first love, Atlas. The story embarks on the true virtue of having patience, and showcases the common cliché, "good things come to those who wait."

Although I enjoyed this story, I still was left wanting more. I rate this book a 3/5 simply because I think the story could have had a little more "spice," and more could have been added to Lily's story line. Definitely would suggest giving it a read if you want to follow up with It Ends With Us, but just don't get your hopes up if it's not everything you could have imagined:)
